The Medical Student Council of Victoria (MSCV) is proud to announce that applications are now open for the positions of Chair and Secretary of Council in 2013.

Both positions are an exciting opportunity for committed medical students to get involved with an organisation at the forefront of the big issues facing Victorian medical students.

To serve as Chair is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of engaged student leaders, represent Victorian medical students, run state-level advocacy campaigns and oversee major student-run events. The role requires a significant personal time commitment.

The role of Secretary is an opportunity to provide support to an state-level advocacy body involved in representing and connecting medical students in Victoria through managing the inner workings of the organisation and providing a strong social media presence.

Please click here for position descriptions and full application process requirements. Note that vision statements for Chair are to be no more than three hundred words long.

Applications are now open and must be emailed to your MedSoc President by midnight on Wednesday, 17 October (details of whom can be found on the Contact tab above). Applicants must be available to attend the Council meeting on the evening of the 22nd of October in Melbourne.

Potential applicants for both positions are strongly encouraged to contact the current Chair, Enis Kocak, via the contact tab above.
