The Medical Student Council of Victoria (MSCV) is proud to announce that applications are now open for the position of Chair of Council in 2015. MSCV is the peak representative body for Victorian medical students and is at the forefront of the big issues facing our students.

The Chair of MSCV is the most senior medical student advocacy position in Victoria and is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of engaged student leaders, represent Victorian medical students, run state-level advocacy campaigns and oversee major student-run events. The role requires a significant personal time commitment.  Students from all four Victorian Medical Schools are eligible to apply.

For position description and details of the application process, applicants are strongly encouraged to independently contact the current Chair, Karim Issa (chair@mscv.org.au).

Note that vision statements for Chair nominations are to be no more than three hundred words in length.

Applications are now open and must be emailed to your MedSoc Presidents by 11.59pm on Tuesday, 14th of October 2014.

Applicants must be available to attend the Council meeting on the evening of the 27th of October 2014, to be held at the University of Melbourne, Parkville campus.
