Applications for MSCV Chair 2020
The Medical Student Council of Victoria (MSCV) is now accepting applications for the position of Chair of Council for 2020.
MSCV is the peak representative body for Victorian medical students. The Chair of MSCV is thereby the senior medical student advocacy position within Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of engaged student leaders and work alongside the Victorian Medical Student Societies to represent, support and connect Victorian medical students. The role requires a significant personal time commitment of an estimated 15-40 hours/week. Students from all medical and clinical schools in Victoria are eligible to apply.

Each applicant will be required to submit their full name, contact details, CV (no more than two pages), and a vision statement outlining motivations, plans, experience and ability to commit adequate time to the role (no more than one page). These must be emailed to your respective MedSoc contact (listed below) by 11:59PM Friday 20 September 2019.
An election will be held in line with the process outlined in the MSCV Constitution and MSCV Regulations and By-laws, whereby each MedSoc will submit a shortlist of up to two applicants to progress to the interview stage.
Shortlisted applicants will be notified by Monday 30 September and must be available to attend an interview on the evening of Friday 11 October 2019, to be held at the University of Melbourne in Parkville. In person attendance is preferred. Teleconferencing may be available but please speak to the current Chair ahead of time to enquire.
